Blast on the Bay Songwriters Festival

Mind = Blown. While this is more of a songwriting event than a band event, festival weekend #2 must be mentioned. This festival changes our (Bo and Lauren's) life in great ways every year and this year was no exception. The highlights were a getting to play a round with THE Troy Jones (had Lauren weeping in public), a gospel show with Jerry Salley (incredible new album we got to try to recreate live), and then a round with Jerry, Danny Myrick and Aaron Barker (where we got to join the crowd signing his song "A Love Without End' back to him in one if the sweetest moment ever witnessed. We got a dose of fresh music from the emerging talent showcase (Edward Hartline won - go check him out!) where every participant was pretty amazing and the roster artists performed hit after hit and were so good it just left you shaking your head. If we are going to talk about murals, it is a harsh reality that there are people who do not appreciate artworks like this. I feel bad, but there is less that I can do; I want them to realize that murals are beautiful and worth appreciating. But I simply don't know where to start.
